Several of the clinical staff from Camp Pegasus provide therapy at the Center, and would love the opportunity to continue to support our campers’, and all children’s, social and emotional growth. In four area locations, Haverford, Paoli, Plymouth Meeting, and Center City, CFATC provides social skills groups and individual therapy with parent support and training. Your referrals, feedback, collaboration, and support made Camp Pegasus possible.Īlthough Pegasus will no longer take flight, my Art of Friendship Social-Coping Program lives on via my private therapy practice, the Child and Family Art Therapy Center (CFATC). To our professional referral sources, collaborators, and colleagues: Thank you for the trust. Without you camp would not have been possible – period. Your dedicated support for our campers was nothing short of heroic and inspiring. To our staff: You were the hardest working, accepting, and loving team ever assembled. Keep advocating for your child’s needs and for the needs of the neurodiverse population! There will be seminars and consultation opportunities in the future, so stay tuned. To our parent/caregiver community: We loved all the wonderful collaboration and sharing our support strategies with you. To our campers: You are truly special people, and we adore you! You will always be our TEAM FOR FUN! Let’s treasure the memories of all the positive experiences and growth at camp and reflect with gratitude for our time together. It really has been a remarkable journey and rather than focusing on the ending we would like to celebrate all we accomplished together. Whether you spent two weeks or eleven summers we are grateful for your trust, enthusiasm and support. In reality, we are thrilled to “go out on top” after a magical 2023 season and eleven-year run. However, the time has come to sunset the program and revel in the laughter, dancing, playing, singing, friendship, and social learning that took place with our campers. This decision has not been easy and nor do we take it lightly. With this in mind, we want to share the difficult news that Summer 2023 was the last for Camp Pegasus. Basking in the glow of another fabulous summer, we are grateful for all the campers, parents/caregivers, and staff who made magic happen.Īs always, our goal is to be transparent and thoughtful in our communications.
